Other Details to Note

๐Ÿšง The cabin sits in a new development. You may hear construction equipment on weekdays. Nights and weekends are quiet. ๐Ÿ“น There is an exterior camera at the front door covering the entry and driveway. There are no cameras anywhere inside the cabin. ๐ŸŠ The pool is indoor, heated and 4 ft deep throughout, built for splashing rather than lap swimming. Keep the pool room deck doors shut so the water holds its temperature. ๐Ÿ“ Bring your own paddles and balls for the community courts. We do not supply equipment. ๐Ÿงป Starter pack only: one toilet roll per bathroom, a small supply of soap and shampoo, one paper towel roll, dish soap and two trash bags. Bring more for longer stays. ๐Ÿป Black bears live here. Trash goes in the bear-proof cans with the lids shut, and nothing is left on the decks overnight. ๐Ÿž Ladybugs turn up on the windows when the weather turns. They are harmless and the cabin is treated regularly. ๐Ÿ”‡ Quiet hours are 11 PM to 7 AM. ๐Ÿพ No pets.

Sevierville, TN, United States

You will want a car. There is no public transport to the cabin and the Pigeon Forge trolley does not run out this far. Roads in are paved with no steep climbs, so a standard car is fine in most conditions. Parking is in front of the cabin for up to four vehicles, and there is no street parking on Reedmont Way. Great Smoky Mountains Parkway is the main route to everything, and it backs up badly on summer and fall weekends, so leave earlier than the drive time suggests. Grocery delivery from Walmart and similar services runs to the cabin address once you are checked in.
