🍖 The grill out front is charcoal, not gas. Bring charcoal and a lighter if you plan to cook on it. 🧴 Starter supplies only: a roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one paper towel roll, starter soap and shampoo, dish soap, two trash bags. Longer stays should bring more, or ask us and we will drop off extra. 💧 The cabin runs on well water, filtered in the basement. Safe to drink, but it is not city water. ⛰️ The last stretch of the drive is gravel and uphill. Any normal vehicle handles it in dry weather, but take it slow. 🐻 Black bears, snakes, and insects are part of the Smokies. Keep food inside and do not approach wildlife. 📺 Four of the five TVs are smart TVs. The main bedroom TV is cable only. 🛁 The hot tub is drained and cleaned between stays. There is no pool and no fire pit here. ❄️ Winter weather can make the gravel drive slick. Check road conditions in colder months.

🌲 The cabin sits off Powdermill Road in the wooded hills between Sevierville and Gatlinburg, close to the Glades. 🎨 The Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community, an 8 mile loop of working studios, potters, and galleries, is about 5 miles away. 🎢 Dollywood, Splash Country, and the Pigeon Forge Parkway are roughly 7 miles out. 🌉 Downtown Gatlinburg, with the SkyPark, Anakeesta, and Ripley's, is about the same distance the other direction. 🏞️ Sugarlands Visitor Center and the national park trailheads are about 10 miles away. 🍽️ Restaurants, grocery stores, and gas are all on the parkways, so stock up on your way in.

There is no single level option here. 🏠 The whole cabin is yours. We are here if you need us, and otherwise we stay out of your way.

🚗 You need a car here. There is no walkable town within reach of the cabin. ⛰️ The last stretch is a gravel uphill mountain road. Any normal vehicle handles it in dry weather. Take it slow. 🛣️ Both parkways are easy runs from the cabin, one toward Pigeon Forge and Dollywood, the other toward Gatlinburg. 🛖 Uber and Lyft show up in the area but coverage thins out at night and in the off season. Do not count on it. 🚦 Parkway traffic gets heavy on weekends, holidays, and through the summer. Add time. ❄️ Winter weather can affect the mountain roads and the gravel drive. Check conditions before you travel.
